Growing up with genres ranging from neo-soul and R&B to EDM and Trap, he provides bouncy yet atmospheric vibes with a dash of nerd culture in one package marked with a kiddaskia! signature.

Using an outdated laptop and the influence of boredom, Askia spent his 2014 Summer downloading samples from his favorite video game soundtracks, chopping and splicing them to make beats inspired by the likes of producers “Raisi K. the Raisin Man” and “Natsu Fuji”.

2017- one year after posting his first beat to SoundCloud- was (by far) the most pivotal moment for his music production career, accumulating approval from his inspirational peers and idols. Since then, he has acquired an impressive 1.9 million plays on the website alone.

The kidd hopes to leave a lasting impression, enough to have people quoting one of his beat tags without knowing it -
